Might As Well

I was woken up by my youngest this morning around 3:45am. No real issue or anything. They just woke up and couldn’t fall back asleep. Needless to say, this kept me up.

I realized that I was just laying in bed and wouldn’t be falling back asleep. Decided to use this opportunity for some light training. Shiko and push ups for roughly 35 minutes. Broke into a great sweat and had shaky legs.

Despite being exhausted and knowing I had a full day of work ahead of me with a 40minute commute both to and from, I still did it. And it made me feel great all day. Tired, but happy.

It’s not a motto to live your entire life by, but it’s something to say to yourself every now and then. Tired? Depressed? Angry? Whether it’s making artwork, exercising, or cleaning your room. You might as well. Just do it. Get it done. You may feel great afterwards.
